Strategic Planning

 

Strategic planning helps me individualize your answer. You give me your pressing questions and I answer them based on your particular circumstances.“What are my chances of getting into medical school?”

“What can I do to improve my chances?” , “When should I take the MCAT?”, “What should I do with my summer or gap year?”, “Should I reapply? If so, when?” The answer: “It depends.”

I strongly encourage all potential clients to start with the Strategic Planning Package. This allows us to set your agenda and is also a low -commitment, efficient way to move forward with your medical school application process and to determine if you want to continue to work together in the future.  This is the most economical place to start and a great way to get many of your admissions questions answered.

 This includes:

  • A comprehensive review of your academic transcript, test scores, and extracurricular activities.  

  • A one-hour virtual conversation. 

  • A transcript of our meeting.

  • A summary document with tons of resource information and an individualized step-by-step plan to meet your goals.

Hourly Mentoring

 

I am happy to discuss your needs and develop an Hourly Mentoring Package. This work may include personal statements, secondary essays, or clients interested in residency application services.

Custom Packages will be priced at an hourly rate with a minimum purchase of 3 hours. 

Concierge Application Service

 

The Concierge Application Service is my most popular soup to nuts program for applying to medical school.  This package gets you my unlimited attention for a year long single application cycle to US medical schools. Keep in mind, this is not just an "editing" service, this is a discovery and learning process.  We will focus on a "character and values based approach" to your application. The cost of this package is inclusive of any services required to submit a complete application through a single application service. The comprehensive care package sets you up for your best chance at success since we work from the very beginning to put forth a cohesive narrative. 

 This includes:

  • Setting a timeline and to do list with regular reminders of deadlines. 

  • Strategizing, preparing and completing your personal statement for AMCAS, AACOMAS, or TMDSMS.  

  • Strategizing, preparing and completing your activities and experiences for AMCAS, AACOMAS, or TMDSMS.

  • Making your school list.

  • Identifying appropriate letter writers and advice for approaching them for letters. 

  • Strategizing, preparing and completing your secondary essays and CASPER

  • Interview prep and mock interviews for traditional and MMI style interviews.

  • Drafting and sending update letters to schools.

  • Assistance with waitlist and school decision making
