Can you apply to US medical schools as an international applicant?

I have a previous blog post addressing the challenges in applying to US Medical Schools as an international student and unfortunately, not much has changed.

Just to be clear on terms - I am referring to non-US citizens applying to US Medical schools; not US Citizens who have done college abroad applying to US Medical Schools.

I have worked with several of these students and it is always challenging. Thankfully, one of my advisees is now serving as a mentor for a group called F-1 Doctors. This is a group of students who are mentoring international applicants.

Information is your friend and this mentorship group seeks to provide both information and support services for FREE. They even keep a great up to date custom spreadsheet on US Medical Schools and their policies regarding international applicants.

Yay for passing it on!!
